Metro Environmental played a pivotal role in the new gymnasium project at Maryvale Union Free School District in Cheektowaga, New York. As part of the district’s 2021 Capital Improvement Plan, the project began with the full demolition of the existing gym and surrounding areas to make way for a larger, state-of-the-art facility.

The updated gym includes a second-floor running track, modern locker and team rooms, a fitness center, concessions area, multipurpose rooms, and dedicated spaces for conferences and film sessions. 

Construction started in March 2023 and concluded in November 2024. Metro Environmental’s specialized experience in demolition and environmental services helped ensure the project was completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
